Many lawyers enter the profession to "make a difference" and believe that they can find personal fulfillment and satifaction with a law degree. After several years, however, some lawyers discover that making a pay check deposit replaces "making a difference." Other lawyers continue to use their law degree for a career of rewarding work. Much has been written on why some lawyers love their legal work, others hate what they do but can't afford to quit and others decide to find non-legal jobs.
